My approach to photographing senior girls is simple:
I shine light on the inner beauty already found within. I'm passionate about empowering young women to see themselves as beautiful from the inside out.
Light Seeker. Photographer. People-lover.
Also, wife to my amazing husband of 22+ years and mother to 3 pretty incredible kids.
I've been photographing high school senior girls in The Woodlands, Cypress and all around Houston for almost 10 years and am so grateful for the chance to be invited to share in this exciting time of life for so many seniors in our area. I love getting to share a special connection with my clients as I wholeheartedly focus on who they are right now at this remarkable spot in time- the space right on the edge between high school and the next adventure out there waiting for them. Seems like it wasn't crazy long ago that I was standing there on that same edge myself. Now I'm living that next adventure and somehow that edge is a really just a beautiful memory growing farther and farther away in the distance.
A view of my favorite things: a good laugh, a great pair of flip flops, the beach, lunch on a patio with friends, watching Gilmore Girls and This Is Us, nice people
There’s a quote by Robert Frank that says,
“When people look at my pictures, I want them to feel the way they do when they want to read a line of a poem twice.”
This is the way I feel about my clients and the images I create for them. I love the relationships I build with high school girls and their moms. I love creating a special experience for seniors to celebrate this exciting time of their life. And I love presenting beautifully crafted images to "my girls" that make them read that line of poetry twice.
My approach to senior portraits is to capture a client's spirit naturally. I want my clients to have timeless photos that truly capture how amazing they are- without forced poses, stiff styling or fabricated concepts. I'm confident that these images will become fierce treasures as the years continue to march on and your high school years become a distant memory. This is an important time of life, and I'm excited to share it with you.
